Horrible Day and Spring Training

So today was not a great day.

  • I woke up late for work, so I had to rush to get ready. Which is never a good thing, because I end up not doing my hair.
  •  I had to take Frank to work with me because we left his car at my work last night to go to a Spring Training Game in Surprise.
  • A lil off topic for a second. I love my Dad, but Tuesday he emails me and asks if I want to go to a Spring Training game. Great Seats off the 3rd base line. I was like sure, where. Thinking it would be around where I live. Nope, Surprise. Which is like a hour and a half drive in traffic to get there. So excited let me tell ya. So I told Frank I was going to get off early so we could get there on time, so be to my work at 4pm. Well he shows up at like 4:20. Uh can we say late? (He is always late for everything. If he could, he would be late to his own funeral) Ha Ha. Don’t tell him I said that. So we leave work and then my gas light comes on. OPPPS I forgot to put gas in my truck. So then I had to get gas, which there is never a gas station when you need one. Then as I’m putting gas in my truck, which takes like $60, they have a $30 cap at this station. So I try and swipe my card again. And they wouldn’t let me. I was so made headed to the game Super Mad…and so Late. Well, as I said earlier, I love my Dad so I learned the best thing ever from him. Let’s just say there were no cops on my way to the game or else I would have a Huge ticket to pay. Game was fantastic and It was nice to get out of the house for a change. Which this goes back to the first bullet, on why I was late for work.  So back to what I was saying

Jumping for Joy...That i get to go home
  • On my way to work I was almost hit twice. I figured today was not my day. The first lady almost took out my whole driver side when she decided the lanes on the freeway were too small for her and she had to use my lane as well. And then when I was on the main streets, this truck decided that he had to right away coming out of a neighborhood and almost plowed right into my passenger seat (which is where Frank was). I was fuming buy the time this happened. But Frank was incredibly sweet and he bought me a flower pot after I got to work and brought it to me to cheer me up. How Sweet. He is sure is amazing.
  • Then I found out as Frank was pulling into his parking spot at our apartment, his steering wheel column went out in his blazer. So now he has to drive my truck around and drop me off and pick me up from work. Not my idea of fun.
  • I came home from work and I went to get the mail and there was The Sims Medieval game in the mail box. Funny how the mail man just drops things off for you, and doesn’t expect a dime in return. Well we Love the mail man, even if he happens to be my one and only, Frank. So I am sorry to inform you that I am going to have to end this to start downloading my game and play…im so so EXCITED

About Me

Hi Everyone! I am not good and telling people my life sorry but here we go.

My name is Lauren Claxton and i was born Feb 20 at 12:30 am. I was 5lbs 9-3/4 oz and 18-3/4 in

Ever since i was a lil girl, my grandpa would call me Lauren Bird. I guess i was a really good bird watcher. My Mom named me Lauren from one of her Soap Opera shows along with my middle name Nicole. I hope she wasn't planning on me being a Soap Opera Star.  :)  I grew up in Queen Creek, where i had thousands (I'm exaggerating) of animals. From horses to a cow, from dogs to cats, from bunny rabbits to guinea pigs, birds to a ferret and a lot of animals in between. On the weekend i would show our Australian Sheppard at dog shows. I guess i was really good. At least that is what i was told.

After dog showing for about 5 or more years i started to become a tom boy. By the way, with being an only child, this would make my dad very happy. My dad and i would go camping and hunting all the time. After i turned 12, i started to hunt. I will never forget that first day, going out opening morning on a junior doe hunt (female deer) and when i took my first shot ( i missed of course) my first words were "Dad, i didnt even feel it kick" i was so excited, i didn't even care that i missed my deer. Hunting has taken me on a lot of adventues with my dad. I had a 4 page spread in a hunting magazine The Western Hunters when i was in 8th grade. I was also put in the record books for hunting for shooting the 3rd largest bear in 2006. So enough about that.

I met the love of my life, Frank, my senior year of high school after my Senior Prom. Long story short, we ended up dating for about 5 days and then i called it off because i was only 18 and he was 23 and i was still in High School. Well a year later, I was hanging with my best friend, Katie, after work and somehow we got into contact and met up "At Our Light Post" don't ask. i still don't know. We ended up hanging out every weekend after i got off work for about 3 weeks before Katie texted both him and I asking if we liked each other. Well we both responded to her with a yes, so she told Frank to ask me out. Which i might say wasn't the most romantic way to ask someone out. He whispered in my ear, do you want to go out with me, while watching a scary movie. HAHA...I will never forget that day for sure. It was 10 minutes till midnight on Friday the 13 in July 2007. He later asked me, after we discussed the whole Friday the 13 thing, " Why didn't you say now, then 10 minutes later say yes" i was like "seriously, that totally would of hurt your feeling" But still to this day he denies it. This is our first photo.

To what i said up top. Yes i am the only child. Well kind of. My Mom and Step Dad adopted 2 kids from Russia in 2006. If you look at this photo. You would never think that they are adopted. My Sister looks exactly like my mom and my brother looks exactly like my step dad.

So if there is anything else you would like to know about me. Just let me know.
